Despite her hatred for packing, she’s managed to explore more than eighty-five so far – including territories and colonies – and chronicles her adventures on her blog, wendysimmons.com and on Huffington Post. Her writing has also been published on Travel & Leisure, PopSugar MSN, and Yahoo. She is president of Vendeloo, a consultancy she founded in 2001, Chief Brand Officer of a NYC-based global eyewear brand, and an award-winning photographer. She graduated summa cum laudeand Phi Beta Kappa from George Washington University. All Gaston Lectures are open to the public with free general admission seating. Jim and Jill Gaston of Gaston’s Resort on the White River endowed the ASUMH Gaston Lecture Series in 1997 to challenge individuals to think, reason, and learn. The Gaston Lectures, which are held each fall and spring semester, will forever serve as a reminder of his generosity.
