Trout Nature Center

During the past four years, a Trout Task Force comprised of key fishing experts have worked diligently in creating a concept and plan for a national Trout Nature Center which will be housed on the ASU-Mountain Home campus.

The purpose of the center will be to enhance the joy of trout fishing and strengthen tourism and economic growth for our area. It will serve all individuals interested in trout and their habitat, and will show the impact of minimum flow, hydrology, the history of the White River, and why trout made their home here. It will also serve as a location for bioscience research.

This 4,500 square foot center and its virtual reality exhibits will be an avenue to educate children and adults regarding the eco-friendly practices and actions we should all apply when trout fishing.

The Trout Nature Center is available to rent for events.
