The Sheid is a multi-purpose event center where groups of all sizes and types will find a well-maintained, flexible facility for their next meeting or event. With over 65,000 square feet of function space, we are ready to turn your ideas into success. Our meeting rooms, convention center and performing arts center are all available to help you create the perfect setting for any occasion. Our professional event services team specializes in making every event memorable, from ensuring every detail is perfectly handled to complimentary Wi-Fi and free onsite parking for meeting planners and attendees.

McClure Convention Center

Our expansive convention center is comprised of of column-free, contiguous exhibit space. It may be arranged as a single entity, or it can be acoustically subdivided into two separate rooms. Each room has its own entrance to allow self-contained movement, with access to catering/kitchen facilities as well. This expansive space features  a wide loading dock. The McClure Convention Center was designed for optimum flexibility and is an ideal location for events such as conventions, trade shows and sporting events.

Meeting and Banquet Rooms 

The Sheid has other carpeted meeting rooms ranging in size from 300 sf to nearly 1,000 sf which are ideally suited for board meetings and break-outs.

Ed Coulter Performing Arts Center

When it’s showtime, there’s no better place than our premier entertainment facility, where everything from corporate presentations to concerts and Broadway plays happen. The auditorium comfortably seats 800 - 1,600 and is complete with a loading dock, ample curtains, intercom system, dressing rooms, a green room, and state-of-the-art sound and lighting. And, our professional technical staff will provide assistance with all aspects of your audio/visual requirements.
